I am really excited about what 2018 will bring to Parkheath stud...
There are 2 foals due in spring 2018;
One whose Dam (Shelly), is by the by $10 Million Dollar sire “Gunner” and the foal’s Sire is Shine Chic Shine.
At the 2017 NRHA futurities 17 of the 35 Section 2 Level 4 Non Pro Finalists were sired by Gunner, a son of Gunner, or out of a daughter of Gunner!
There were 8 Semi Finalists and 4 Finalists sired by Shine Chic Shine, Shine Plum Shine, (by Shine Chic Shine) won the NRHA Futurity Level 3 Open Futurity tie. He also won the first go round of the Level 3 and 4 but he stumbled in the Semi finals and missed the Level 4 finals. Watch for them at the NRBC.

The other’s dam (Lucky), is by the $6 Million Dollar Sire “Hollywood Dun It” and the foal’s Sire is Jo Jo (Colonels Shining Gun).
Jo Jo was the 2017 French Futurity Level 4 Champion and the 2014 NRHA European Futurity Champion.

Plus our Filly “Corrina” (MQH Milky Gun) will start her showing career with Louise McKnight (Broadway Performance Horses). Corrina’s sire is Pale Face Dunnit.

At the 2017 NRHA Futurities there were 10 Semi finalists and 4 Finalists. Face The Attitude (by Pale Face Dunnit) won the Level 4 Final, ridden by Craig Schmersal with a score of 226.5.


Not forgetting “Bailey” (Holster Your Gun) who is also by the by $10 Million Dollar sire “Gunner” Bailey was the 2017 BR Rooke Pro High Point Champion, shown by Louise McKnight.

And Finally “Blondie” (Accustomed to Shine) a lovely sweet mare by the $3.5 million Dollar Shire Custom Crome, who is also shown by Louise McKnight

Successes at British Reining Championship Show 30th Sept - 1st Oct 2017
Great few days at the British Reining Championships at Bodiam International Arena with some positive results in both the Year-end Hi Points and the Championship Classes. Louise did a great job! Results were:-
- Rookie Professional Champion with Accustomed to Shine
- Limited Open Reserve Champion with Holster Your Gun
- Rookie Professional Hi Points Champion with Holster Your Gun and Reserve Champion with Accustomed to Shine
- Intermediate Open Reserve Hi Points Champion with Accustomed to Shine
- Rookie Professional Champion with Accustomed to Shine
- Limited Open Reserve Champion with Holster Your Gun
- Rookie Professional Hi Points Champion with Holster Your Gun and Reserve Champion with Accustomed to Shine
- Intermediate Open Reserve Hi Points Champion with Accustomed to Shine





Successes at Garden of England International Show 16th - 20th August 2017
Louise McKnight of Broadway Performance Horses, showing Accustomed To Shine and Holster Your Gun, had an awesome weekend at the GoE International Show.
On Saturday Blondie and Louise placed 2nd in the NRHA Rookie Pro, and 1st in both the BR Rookie Pro & BR Limited Open.
On Sunday they went on to be co-champions in the NRHA & BR Rookie Pro scoring a 142. They then scored a 142.5 and were co-champions in the NRHA Ltd Open, BR Limited Open & the BR Intermediate Open. In total they won over $318.
